Out-patient Treatment Overview

Outpatient Treatment Overview

What is intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)?

Intensive Outpatient Treatment is a level of care designated for persons who require a higher level of care than traditional outpatient treatment, specifically those who need close monitoring and support several times a week, anywhere from 9 to 19 hours, depending on client need and availability.

Is Outpatient Treatment Right For You (OP)?

Outpatient treatment is designed for those who have completed a higher level of care like a residential treatment program or for those who are medically stable and able to pursue recovery without around-the-clock supervision. It is ideal for anyone who must continue to work, attend school, or care for children or parents at home.

What are Recovery Services (RS)?

Recovery Support Services (RS) are aftercare support services designed to help individuals become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse.  RS emphasizes the patients’ central role in managing their health and recovery and promotes the use of effective self-management and coping strategies, as well as internal and community resources to support ongoing self-management.

What is the NCADD-SFV Outpatient Treatment Program?

Our team at NCADD-SFV has experienced certified and registered alcohol and drug counselors to teach clients the necessary tools to identify the triggers and fight the urges that could lead to relapse. 12-Step facilitation therapy recovery which is an evidence based practice is integrated with the principles of addiction treatment, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy strategies. Clients will learn effective coping strategies to deal with life stressors and get connected with other individuals in recovery to develop a support network.

NCADD-SFV outpatient treatment program is client centered and our goal is to meet the specific needs of the individual client. All clients will receive a comprehensive assessment/intake to determine what level of care is appropriate and develop their personalized treatment plan with their assigned case manager/counselor. Our goal is to provide clients the services and support that they need to achieve their individual treatment goals.

Our Services Include the Following:
