Community Events
Updates on new virtual events happening in the community of Van Nuys, Santa Clarita and its neighboring cities will be posted regularly throughout the year. Most events are FREE to attend.
Harvesting Health Event – Saturday, October 7th, 2023
This event will bring community members together to learn about drug prevention and enjoy fun fall activities such as pumpkin painting , hay maze, carnival games, and more. This will include community resources and other informational materials. Even a food giveaway!
The goal is to raise awareness on substance use prevention and the dangers of marijuana edibles among youth and the importance of safe storage to parents.
Naloxone Workshops
Naloxone is an emergency overdose reversal medication to help someone experiencing an opioid overdose. We host free workshops on Zoom or in-person for the community. Everyone who attends receives a FREE naloxone kit which includes the medication, a magnet, info booklet, and a bag. Contact us if you’re looking to host one at your school or in your community.
